I am incredibly proud that EZDRM has again been recognized in the Content Protection/DRM category. We are particularly gratified this year because we have expanded beyond our core Digital Rights Management origins, while maintaining the fundamental mission of protecting and enhancing media revenue streams.

Precision Envelope Management (PEM), like many innovations in the revenue security space, is a response to changing dynamics in our industry. At a time when live event revenue is transitioning to streaming platforms, security demands a layered approach. We listened to the service provider's requests for a mechanism to rotate encryption keys, and engineered a novel solution that goes beyond that baseline. PEM enables diversification of stream delivery - both the rotation of encryption keys in time, but also across delivery regions. By doing this, PEM decreases the risk of global DRM key compromise by adding a second security layer that can be tuned to disrupt the operations of stream piracy sites until their service becomes unusable.
PEM's engineering is genuinely brilliant, but what earns it a place on the winners podium is how well it fits within the theme of security layers. EZDRM is now, more often than not, working on solutions for streaming services which include a number of our technologies as well as those of our industry partners - CDN, Geo fencing, watermarking, etc. We like to represent this as a Prism of security approaches but however you choose to visualize it, revenue security layering has become a key tool for our customers' business.
Come for a demo of this technology at IBC 2026!
