IBC is always a busy event with numerous opportunities to make a lasting impression. EZDRM made its mark through discussions related to new solutions, extending industry partnerships and strengthening the representation and retention of women in this sector. The real value of this event lies in the people, thoughtful discussions, shared experiences, and new relationships that shape our future. We’d like to share some highlights with you.
EZDRM attended IBC 2025 with the goal of cultivating its expanding role in Revenue Security, while launching a significant number of new products under that banner, many of which are based on the added value of C2PA in live and on-demand video services. We leave the show grateful for the support of our clients, partners, and analysts, and with a genuine sense that we have solidified our unique industry positioning in this challenging market landscape.
As Tommy Flanagan from Faultline commented:
BBC R&D and Sony are clearly forgetting about other real-world work on C2PA being carried out and demonstrated by smaller organizations, such as the first ever live demo of C2PA with DRM, which Faultline witnessed firsthand at NAB 2025, courtesy of EZDRM.
EZDRM has already built on this, recently adding C2PA support to embed signed provenance metadata into VoD and live streams via its Video Signature Service, plus secure storage of metadata in its Provenance Signature Vault. This enables instant playback with real-time authenticity checks, helping combat AI-generated fakes in premium streaming and enterprise workflows.
The new services lineup was also reviewed by veteran industry commentator Stuart Thomson in decodeTV:
Content security provider EZDRM, hitherto best known for its DRM-as-a-service offering, has more recently turned its attention to technologies that can address the challenge of content authentication – and in doing so, also tackle the threat of CDN leeching.
EZDRM has worked for some time as part of the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) to spread the message about the threat posed by illicitly modified versions of content and to provide solutions to identify modifications. At IBC it will launch a Video Signature Service to allow content rightsholders or publishers to digitally sign content as they publish it, alongside a Provenance Signature Vault.
Why do these expanded services resonate with so many operators?
Within the live-streaming marketplace, especially among rights-holders and platforms delivering premium sports, there’s a sense that traditional DRM provides a vital baseline of video protection, but leaves gaps. Additional tools are required to target network weaknesses and effectively manage client viewing sessions. C2PA helps address this, and our new Precision Envelope Encryption (PEM) service goes further, adding features designed to meet these challenges. PEM offers an extra layer of encryption, adjustable by time or geography, giving sports services broadcast-style control, such as frequent key rotation. Visitors to the EZDRM booth agreed: PEM is a timely addition to a strong Revenue Security portfolio.
Beyond launching and demonstrating the product lineup to hundreds of booth visitors, we were also delighted to see strategic partners, such as Wowza Video and Dolby OptiView, consolidate their use of EZDRM services within their industry-leading video delivery platforms. We look forward to the rapid growth of business as those platforms gain traction.
And, last but not least, we are always proud of our COO and Co-Founder, Olga Kornienko, in her role as a leader of a woman-owned company and a mentor to others who contribute to the industry. At IBC 2025, this was vividly illustrated in a Women in Tech panel with several other pioneers. To quote Olga, "everybody needs a mentor no matter what role they play in the organization or where they are in their career journey."
The panel was a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come - and how much work remains. Women’s contributions to our industry grow every day, even in a space still largely shaped by men. We encourage all women, and the men who champion them, to “believe that you belong” and to keep building an industry where every voice has a place.
